Parents can directly ask you to babysit through a booking request. Yes! Always respond to these requests, even if you're unavailable. This way, parents know where they stand and can continue their search for another lovely Angel. Similarly, we ask parents to promptly respond to proposals on the Jobboard.

It's okay to cancel a booking only in exceptional circumstances, such as emergencies. After all, you've made an agreement with the parent to babysit, and they are counting on your presence. Parents are not allowed to cancel without notice. If they cancel 24 hours in advance, they must pay you for 1 hour. If they cancel 3 hours in advance, it's 2 hours. Indicate in the app the days and time slots you are usually available for babysitting. Based on this information, your availability will be shown to parents, helping them decide whether to ask you to babysit. This also ensures that you generally receive relevant booking requests. Handy, isn't it?

In the app, you can set your own hourly rate—it's all up to you! We don't deduct anything; everything you earn is yours. Wondering what a good hourly rate is? Important to know: we have two hourly rates. One rate is for daytime babysitting, where you can charge a bit more due to the potential intensity. The other rate is for evening babysitting when the kids are usually in bed, allowing you some personal time. Therefore, these rates are lower.
