To gain access to the extensive network of Angels, you start a membership with Charly Cares. Additionally, you naturally pay the Angel for the sitting service.
Why do we work with memberships? We personally check every Angel for motivation, references, and personal data, so we know exactly who the pet sitter is. Additionally, for example, with memberships, we can keep our app running. Good to know: we do not deduct anything from the Angel's payout; the full amount goes to the sitter.

Frequently asked questions about a pet sitter
My pet has specific traits, can I find a suitable sitter?
Clearly list the characteristics of your dog or cat in the booking request. This way, you can be sure that the sitters who respond can handle those traits and ensure a good match!
Does the sitter come to my home, or can I take my pet to the sitter?
Clearly state in your request whether you want the Angel to come to your home, or if you prefer to bring your pet to the Angel. This way, the Angel knows what to expect in advance. You can make arrangements about this among yourselves.
How do I make a booking?
1. In the app, go to 'Find an Angel' and click on the option 'Pet Care'.
Then select the date and time you need a pet sitter. Enter the rate you want to pay and write a personal message about what you expect from the sitter.
- The booking is now open to all pet sitters in your area.
This means they can make an offer on your booking, indicating they are willing to sit. They can also make a counteroffer for a different rate. It’s up to you: you decide who comes. You can view the Angel’s profile and decide whether to accept or reject the offer.
- If you accept, this Angel will come to take care of your pet. Yes!
You can easily communicate in the chat to discuss further details. After the booking, the payment is automatically processed via direct debit.
What is Pet Care?
Pet Care is a service by Charly Cares where you can book a pet sitter for your pet through our app. Pet Care involves booking a sitter who will take care of your dog or cat, for example, when you need to go to the office for a day, or if you are away for a weekend or on vacation. The pet sitter will feed your pet, ensure it gets exercise, and provide love and attention when you’re away.
Besides Pet Care, Charly Cares also offers Childcare (home babysitting) and Senior Care (help for the elderly).
