How does it work?
Need a last minute babysitter? With Chary Cares you can find an experienced, screened babysitter in minutes. You indicate the time you need your last minute babysitter and while you wait, we will find you a match. Select at least 3 and a maximum of 5 Babysitting Angels, so you can make sure one of them is available. Then you can decide who will babysit in a little bit! Urgently searching for and finding a babysitter has never been this easy. We have said it before, but make sure you book at least 3 hours in advance.
Standby babysitter
Fun fact: Charly Cares always adds Standby Angels for Friday night, Saturday (night) and Sunday afternoon. Eh, what now? Well, if you have picked your last minute Babysitting Angels, but they happen to be unavailable at the last moment, it would be great if you could still go to the gym. Or to that one event. Or that appointment tomorrow. We have said it before: no more babysitting stress. Standby Angels to the rescue!

So, you can book a last minute babysitter up until 3 hours in advance. Of course, it would be nice for you and your family if you can find a babysitter who becomes an instant favourite. Which is why you will always first create a pool consisting of 3 or 4 Babysitting Angels who belong to your favourites. Chances are, of course, that they cannot take on a babysitting service on such short notice. Tip from Charly: book a little before those 3 hours.

Frequently asked questions
What are the costs of a babysitting service?
Angels are able to choose their own hourly rate, so it can be different per Angel. The hourly rate varies between approximately €8 and €15 per hour, it does not matter how many kids you have. The hourly rate stays the same, whether you have 1 or 3 kids.
You also pay the subscription costs and booking costs. The subscription is €13.99 per month and the booking fee is €1.99 per booking.
How do I pay the Angel?
The payment through the app works as follows: when the Angel is at your home, a timer will automatically start, and upon their departure, you stop the timer. Then, you check the times for accuracy and choose whether to pay the Angel privately or through your business (if your employer reimburses for babysitting expenses). If you are paying personally, you can, after consulting with the visiting Angel, choose a payment method:
- iDeal: Arrange the payment through your bank app. The Angel will be paid within a day.
- Cash or via Tikkie: Arrange the payment directly with the Angel.
- Via direct debit: You don't need to do anything else; Charly Cares will debit the amount from your account within 2 working days and pay the Angel after 4 working days.
Note! For a Pet Care booking, a fixed rate applies to that booking. The timer will automatically stop, and you don't need to take any further action. The same applies to a Senior Care booking; the timer will be automatically stopped. Both Pet and Senior Care payments are processed through direct debit.
