You can view this feature as an old-fashioned supermarket noticeboard, where you can pin a note saying you’re looking for a babysitter. The Angels who live near you and who meet your requirements can then take a proactive approach and respond to it. Of course, you’ll decide which Angel eventually ends up babysitting.
Of course, you would prefer to have one fixed and familiar face as the babysitter for your children. That is why you can also opt not to enable Jobboard. Do you have a last minute or fixed booking request? In that case, we do advise you to select your favourite Angels and enable Jobboard. That way, the chances of your booking succeeding are even bigger and you won’t have to worry.
Naturally, you want to know if the Angel who has responded via Jobboard is reliable. Makes sense! That's why we personally check every Babysitting Angel for motivation and experience before she has access to our platform. An Angel is also required to provide at least 2 references from families she has babysat for before. Naturally, you can see the profile of Angels through the Jobboard proposals, including ratings and reviews given by other parents Reliable, right?
Reliability is paramount at Charly Cares. Before our Babysitting Angels start working for us, one of our recruiters meet them via an online video call. We also check 2 references for each Angel. During the video call, we discuss the babysitter's motivation, experience, and personality at length. But ultimately, it is up to parent and Angel to judge whether there is a good match between the two parties. We therefore recommend a personal introductory meeting before the Angel comes to babysit.
When you invite an Angel for a fixed booking, they can either accept or decline the booking. If they accept de booking, they commit to all dates listed in the booking. Sometimes an Angel would really love to babysit, but is unavailable on some of the dates. In the booking, they can then tick the days they can and would like to babysit. The Babysitting angel can thus make a counter offer, which you can then accept or decline. This way, you will be ensured a couple of fixed babysitting services with the same babysitter. Once the counter offer has been accepted, you will be able to chat with the Angel.
Sure! Create a booking for the time you actually need a babysitter. After an Angel has accepted the booking, you can agree to meet through the chat or you can call the Angel directly. If you would prefer to meet in person, you can create a short, two-hour booking to get to know each other.
