Coronavirus: current policy Charly Cares
We are keeping a close eye on the official reports regarding the coronavirus. We follow the guidelines of the RIVM and GGD and ask Angels and parents to take their responsibility and keep the children, and each other, healthy.
Our tips for how to book a babysitter as safely as possible
Above, we list measures you can take to ensure that our babysitting services run as safely as possible. In addition, we are happy to share with you our tips and best practices, so that you can book a babysitter safely.
Get tested now
Do you have any complaints such as a cold, coughing, elevated temperature (starting at 37.5 degrees), or a sudden loss of taste or smell? Get tested for the coronavirus as soon as possible, so that we can continue to protect each other and the children.
Our policy regarding babysitting services
Wash your hands often.
Cough and sneeze into your elbow.
Keep 1.5 meters distance.
Give each other space.
Stay at home and get tested as soon as possible.
One and a half meters
We ask all parents and Babysitting Angels to keep 1,5 meter distance from each other at all times. While babysitting, keeping a distance of 1,5 meter between the babysitter and the child(ren) might be difficult. According to the RIVM, children play a smaller role in spreading the virus than adults. And, even if the children get ill, the illness is usually mild. That is why the schools are open again, and why a Charly Cares Babysitting Angel can babysit again.
Our policy regarding hygiene
Follow the RIVM guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus. That means:
- Don't shake hands
- Regularly wash your hands for at least 20 seconds
- Cough and sneeze into the inside of your elbow
- Use paper tissues and discard them after use
On holiday in an orange area?
Did you just got back from a holiday in an orange area? Quarantine at home for 14 days. That also means no babysitting services during this period. Be sure to carefully check whether or not your holiday destination falls within an orange area.
Stay up to date
The RIVM website contains the most up-to-date information regarding the coronavirus and the accompanying risks. It goes without saying that we will remain alert and we will keep you informed via this webpage about any further measures taken to keep everyone healthy.
