7x the most fun date nights in October 2018!
Last week, you read all about the best autumn activities this autumn, but now it is time for you and your boyfriend/girlfriend to plan some quality time! We give you 7 tips to experience the best date nights this month!
#1. Design, music, art
Do these words sound like music to your ears? Then you simply must to go to De Dutch Design Week this year. From 22 October until 30 October, Eindhoven will be turned upside down with a 100 different locations where all kinds of design and art will be displayed. For the food-lovers among us, there will also be plenty to taste and enjoy as well. Don’t miss out!
#2. Cook your heart out
Whether you serve up a three course meal with ease or are prone to overcooking the potatoes; a cooking workshop has never made anyone less of a chef! Brasserie Meelfabriek Zijlstroom in Leiden organises cooking workshops regularly, and in the theme of autumn, you can take a mushroom cooking workshop on 13 and 14 October.
#3. Are you a beer lover?
Then you cannot miss the Streekbierfestival! This festival takes place a couple of days after October: 2, 3 and 4 November, the Streekbierfestical will take place in Utrecht. Talk to master brewers about their beers and try the most delicious, most unique beers from our own country. O, and not unimportant, entry is entirely free!
#4. Dance through the night
We of course mean the Amsterdam Dance Even of 17 until 21 October! Attend a party in the Sugar Factory or go to one of the many ADE talks. Whether it’s day or night, there will always be plenty to do.
#5. Viva la España
1 October, the Spanish tapas bar Tio Paco opens its doors in Hilligersberg, Rotterdam. Yeah! Choose your favourite tapas or pinchos or come to Tio Paco Paella Fiesta on Thursday night for a delicious plate of paella. Buen apetito.
#6. Take me to church
You can experience the perfect date night together during the Take me to Church days (18 October until 21 October). Pop stage Patronaat and Stichting Gitaarlem are joining forces that weekend for the festival Take me to Church. Famous artists such as Spinvis and Maaike Oubouter will perform in several churches in Haarlem.
#7. Choose your genre!
Not only Haarlem is organising a musical program at the end of October, The Hague as well will show off its pop talents during the Haagse Popweek from 19 until 27 October. From pop and rock to electronic; several genres will be shown! Also want to develop your musicality? Definitely possible! Follow a workshop baking vocals or a masterclass lyrics. There is something for everyone.
